Pastor Frederick Downing

Pastor Downing has an incredible ability to be real with people. He believes that life is about relationships with God, and with one another. He is always willing to invest in the lives of others with sincerity and integrity.

This native of Washington, D.C. and his wife, Gail have made the metro Atlanta area their home since September 1990. They’re blessed with two great children, a 16 year old son, John and a 9 year old daughter, Amber.

Pastor Downing has sixteen years of pastoral experience. He provides quality leadership and opportunities for spiritual growth and development as he facilitates a myriad of workshops and seminars on spiritual formation, team building, stewardship, hospitality, leadership, spiritual gifts, visioning, and prayer, throughout the United States, and in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

As one of the founding pastors of Kingdom of God Ministries International, he is reminded that Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5 NIV)

This Scripture is the motivation for his passionate commitment towards serving God and His people. Pastor Downing is a dynamic preacher, with a global scope of ministry, and is dedicated to reaching everyone for Christ.

He truly believes “Life is choice driven” and he has chosen to enjoy the journey, while consistently striving to increase the intimacy of his relationship with Christ as he avails himself to greater spiritual growth and development.

Through his preaching and teaching of God’s Holy Word, Pastor Downing makes every effort to equip the saints for ministry, as he reminds us that through God’s Holy Spirit we are empowered, equipped and expected to work diligently on behalf of Jesus Christ, to reach the entire world.
